Taverna Omiros in Flensburg

The best Greek far and wide. Highly recommended and a very friendly staff. Taverna Omiros is worth every visit!

Super tasty, best gyros (without fat), souvlaki top and deliver in Corona times. Very on the ball. We always pick up and look forward to the restaurant operation again.

Plentiful and tasty portions, nice staff. I only find the Metaxa sauce a little too sweet. But we'd love to come back. They even deliver at lockdown times. Parking spaces are also plentiful.

Friendly service, especially good hygiene concept. Not too crowded, almost always getting a table during the week. The classic uzo is of course also included. Chic restaurant, gladly again??

We were 4 who ate at Taverna Omiros. We had not booked a seat, but they quickly found a table. There was fine service, and fine hygiene. For starters we ordered a single Saganaki. We all got salad and then we shared the appetizer between us. It worked fine and there was so much of the main course that we lacked nothing. We were actually happy with the salad. We ordered 2 Grillteller (Rhodes and Omiros) with different meat dishes, 1 serving of mousaka and 1 lamb steak. There was plenty for all of us and the food was finely cooked. I was particularly fond of the liver, but the lamb was also tasty. My wife was very fond of the mousaka. The 2 Grillteller provided a good opportunity to taste the many different kinds of meat and specialties. The service was prompt and polite, and the staff friendly. The waiter was quick to serve us when we called him, but there was no stress and we felt welcome. We will definitely return.

It was the first time in the new location and it was not disappointed. What looks rather small and inconspicuous from the outside is big and super well-kept and cozy inside. Food went very quickly and was absolutely delicious. Price / performance right, service is great. Nothing to complain about, gladly again!

We are currently on vacation in Flensburg and found it by accident. The food was excellent and the staff super friendly. The ambience is very modern and very nicely decorated. It's a shame that we live so far away a visit is definitely recommended :)

Delicious eatery in cozy atmosphere in truly accomplished Greek style. Super friendly and fast waiters who are about you all the time ? The food was incredibly tasty and our grill plate ordered for 1 person, was filled with different varieties of tender Greek meat and the most delicious tzaziki plus accessories ??? It is the best Greek restaurant I have been to so far, and can and should simply just be experienced ??? We like to drive from Oksbøl by the west coast, just to get some Greek food ?? One should not be fooled by the fact that the restaurant is located in an industrial neighborhood.

The food is good and plentiful. It bothered me that it was very loud in the bar and it reminded me that there was a dance school in the premises before. My husband wears a hearing aid and found it difficult to join the conversation. A friend wanted to call her son but could not really understand him. Cell phone calls are hardly possible.

Despite "technical" difficulties and the resulting waiting time, a great first visit to a great restaurant. Very cozy atmosphere with very friendly staff and delicious food. You can't go wrong here!

Maybe we got the wrong day. The ambience might be ok if the noise level hadn't reminded you of a train station hall. We could hardly talk at the table. I have also not known waiting at the door despite having reserved a table. The waitresses were very friendly but unfortunately overwhelmed. A tip to the owner, if the staff works at a run, it does not contribute to the feeling of well-being. 1.5 hours waiting time for the food is too long for my taste. All in all we will not come back. What a shame...

Food was great, however they were completely full and seemingly understaffed. Food took almost an hour and forty-five minutes to arrive.

Had booked a table for 9 people at 18 and order immediately. Drinks arrived after 40 min. And the food I moved for at. 19.30. Come at 19.45. First and last time I was here, but luckily there are many good Greek restaurants in Flensburg.

Found it by chance in Flensburg, called briefly and went for it. Nice and courteous service, with a smile, even under the mask. The food was terrific, both the starter and the main course - a small salad and an ouzo beforehand and a berry schnapps after the main course. The whole thing to Greek music on a cozy terrace. Great. With pleasure again

Friendly atmosphere. Well maintained and clean. Generous indoor and outdoor areas. Delicious food and drinks. The price-performance ratio is good. Overall recommendable.

We are currently on vacation in Flensburg and went to the Taverna Omiros for dinner with our two children on Monday evening. The service was unbeatable. And the food was sensationally delicious! It's a shame that we live so far away, otherwise we would like to be guests here more often!

A nice place with good atmosphere. The old dance school has been completely renovated and looks delicious and inviting. The food is fantastic and in large portions at a fair price. We would love to come again.

Food was great. Room was a bit chilly so had to keep jacket on. Staff was really nice. Took 1h.10 minutes before the food came out though. Price is similar to All the others. No buffet.

Great food and excellent service. We had the misfortune of not speaking more than a few words of German, but our waiter was excellent in sign language and animal sounds. We had a good laugh at each others expense due to speaking 7 languages but still not one we had in common. Nevertheless we had a great time and our meals was good enough for us to want to go back even though we were just passing through.
